As the name suggests, Planar II harnesses the power of planar drivers over moving coil designs for phenomenal accuracy, clarity and detail. Incorporating a matrix of neodymium magnets, the Planar II’s drivers are made to push and pull from both sides of the diaphragm evenly across the entire surface area.
By applying this meticulous force in equally and in both directions, listeners are treated to a remarkably natural sound susceptible to less distortion when compared to traditional moving coil designs.
