Bricasti Design MC1 Professional Digital to Analog Converter
Bricasti’s MC1 is the culmination of many years of refined research and development. Employing two entirely isolated channels - each with its own separate linear power supply, converter and clocking - the MC1 offers a fully-differential digital to analogue stereo reference converter.
Features
- Fully-differential stereo reference DA
- Twin DAC design
- Separate linear power supplies per channel
- ADI 1955 D/A converters
- proprietary filter technology
- Balanced and unbalanced outputs
- 19” rack mountable
- Handmade in USA
Audio waveforms are painstakingly recreated with the goal of preserving not only harmonic integrity, but the recordings intended character. As a result, instrumentation and vocals sound beautifully life-like and transparent after conversion.
The MC1’s precise two channel design ensures crosstalk to reduce to virtual non-existence and that all digital processing is isolated as well as each individual channel’s power supply. Bricasti have also integrated their own proprietary filter technology, critical to achieving peak efficiency in modern reference D/A applications.
